Forced answers and forward only when slide finished

Hi Everybody,

I just build an eLearning and I'm now fine-tuning everything. In the past I could make sure that the forward to next slide button only appeared when the slide finished and I could force people to answer questions in a quiz before being able to see the next question slide. As it is a long time ago, I completely forgot were to do this and I couldn't find it online.

Does anybody know how to make these settings in Captivate 10?

Thanks in advance!

Best regards,

Dick

    Two different questions:

    1. Easiest way is to have the Next button starting just at the end of the slide content and have it pause a little bit before the end of the slide. Maybe you'll have to extend the slide timeline. However, do you allow the user to come back to the slide? Would he then also have to wait until the end of the slide? Have a look at:
Force first view - Captivate 8 - Captivate blog
    2. Do not add the Skip button, and hide the playbar during Quiz (see Quiz Preferences). Since CP9 this is no longer a problem when you get in Review mode, since two dedicated Review buttons are available (Quiz Preferences) that will only appear during Review (>> and <<).

    Hi Lilybiri,

Good questions. I will have to check with my client how he exactly wants the eLearning to react, but these tips will help me for sure.

    Thanks!!

    Best regards,
