Fragmented audio over a number of slides

Question

Is there a way to fix fragmented audio that is over a number of slides?

A technical trainer in our group recorded the audio narration, and simulation that demonstrated how to use a software application in Captivate. While recording, he highlighted words and click on the capture screen which caused multiple slides for one sentence. Is there a way to repair this (or some of it) in Captivate?

It's not actually broken. Captivate just obeyed what the user was doing. Each time you use the mouse to click something when performing screen recording it will add a new slide and break the narration at that point. If your user was intending to record lots of fluid movement, it might have been better to use Video Demo instead of slide by slide capture.
