Free eLearning Assets do not appear

I have Adobe Captivate 9.0.2.421. I can see the assets loaded on my local drive, and if I click the Adobe Stock button, I get a window for Adobe Stock. However, when I click the Free eLearning Assets button, a very brief "loading" message pops up and then I get a blank white screen within Captivate. Nothing loads or displays.

How do I access the 25,000+ free learning assets that should be available?

I am having a similar issue. "Get Free eLearning Assets" tab would show blank white and perhaps after several minutes load the eLearning Brothers content and although I was able to log in once after following the instructions here: http://elearningbrothers.com/getting-started-assets-captivate-9-0-2/ Now it has since only displayed the following message: "Oops, looks like Amazon is having some issues." I guess they're using AWS... It's sad to see this is obviously still an issue 6 months after the last post in this thread. Whether the issue is on Adobe's side or more than likely the side of eLearning Brothers Adobe should be working with them to correct the issue.

Hi there, eLearning Brothers has instructions on their blog about this issue.

Getting Started with Assets in Captivate 9.0.2 » eLearning Brothers

Hope this helps!!

Thanks, that worked even though Captivate was already patched with 9.02.

I had to go thru it twice - I tried a shortcut of appending "backup" to the specified folder names. That did not work so I went back and moved them to a separate folder (and then followed the remaining steps). That did the trick.

Thanks again,

If you are running Captivate on a Windows 64-bit O/S, you can follow the updated steps in the blog referenced above. Adobe passed along some additional instructions and the blog was updated.

When installing the patch, did you Clear Preferences and did you delete the Layouts and Sample Projects folders in the Public documents, under Adobe\eLearning assets?

I honestly don't remember. Do I need to uninstall, reinstall, and then re-patch, using the steps that you outlined?

No, you can still Clean Preferences (running a file from the subfolder 'Utils' in the installation folder). Be sure Captivate is closed. You can also delete the Layouts folder in the Public documents as well, so that a new fresh copy will be made from the original folder when you restart Captivate.
