Free eLearning Assets not Appearing in My Assets

I'm hoping someone has a fix for this.  Recently a number of IDs on my team started reaching out to me for support with characters downloaded from Free eLearning Assets not showing up in Captivate in My Assets.  I tested mine and everything was working fine . . . for the first couple downloads.  Then I started experiencing the same issue everyone else was.

Knowing where the images save to, I went to My Documents > Adobe > eLearning Assets > Assets > Assets > Images > High and there were all the images I had downloaded.  Only problem is it appears all but the image of Angela (which appears to be preloaded with Captivate install) are corrupt.  The image will not generate a thumbnail or open in Photoshop or Fireworks.   The IDs with the same issue are having the same issue with the images appearing corrupt.  I tried the images in the Low folder with the same result.

Is anyone else encountering this?  Is there a fix?

Thank you Lieve! I'll try that.  My company has all of that locked down but I'll try calling in a favor from a friend in IT.  Thanks!
