Free elearning characters not downloading

When I try to download characters from the Free e-learning Assets tab I get a message saying they have downloaded but they don't appear in the selection screen. This started happening last week - before that it was all sweet - able to download , select and insert into my Captivate projects.

Also the selection  panel looks like it is full up - if I pull the scroll bar down there is no space for any more character images - shows  15 rows of 7 characters

I'm using Captivate 2017 in a Windows environment.

Today the same issue started happening to my work colleague.

Just had a web chat with E-learning Brothers.

They say that there has been an issue with the cutout just recently  and that there  developers are working with Adobe to get this fixed.

Timeframe for fix is uncertain but in the meantime, you can download directly from the website:

You may need to create an account if you haven't got one already

Same issue. And I'm under the gun to get something done, so let's get this fixed, Adobe!

Sorry, but this is a user forum. I am on WIndows, seems to be a Mac issue.

I'm not sure what you mean, Lilybiri. And I am a Windows user, and having the issue that everyone else has described above.

I'm also experiencing this issue (download appears to be successful but asset never appears in folder); however, I only seem to be having the issue when trying to download illustrated cut out people. When I tested downloading photo realistic cut outs, it worked fine.  I did try various image sizes for both real and illustrated and that didn't seem to make a difference.

It's too much of a coincidence that the same issue is being experienced at the same time by someone in your organisation.

Sounds like something has changed overnight in your IT environment.

Check with your IT department to see if you may have had some update to either your operating system, browser settings, security updates, etc.

I'm having the same issue. Photo realistic characters appear to have downloaded successfully but then never show up in the selector. I'm using Captivate 2017 on a Mac.
