Free Trial Document Recovery- Captivate

Greetings Captivate Community!

Two years ago I was part of a temporary gig that worked on getting training and educational materials prepared for existing and new hire employees. I had been developing SOPs and was discussing the advantages of using Adobe Captivate to create visual e-Learning scenarios that learners could go through to understand applicable training sections. We got a trial version of Adibe Captivate and I proceeded to create a technical training document.

The problem/question I have:

Is there any way to re-access this document so that I can take screen shots of what I created? Would I just need to sign up for or pay for Captivate in order to have full access again?

The only thing I have is the temporary web link to the document, which does nothing when selected.

Any advise/help on how to access the information that I worked on would be so very helpful! I'm rying to utilize what I created as part of my Instructional Design portfolio.

Sera~

If all you want to do is open the original CPTX and take some screenshots, AND your project was created 2 years ago with a trial version, then it would NOT have been a Cp 2017 trial version.  So you should be able to just use a current trial version of Captivate to do what you want.  But be warned that any project output you happen to create with that trial will stop working after 30 days.  That shouldn't be a problem if all you need to do is take some screenshots.

Thank you for the quick response Rod.

So that I understand you correctly: obtaining another free trial today, then using the old link I had from the previous project, would allow me access to that old information so I could take screenshots and save in PowerPoint or something?

I'm not wanting to re-create material, I'm wanting to access old(under the free trial) content. Yes, the trial would have been in 2015, not 2017 Co.

Thanks for clarifying, I appreciate the response!

Sera~

If your previous trial was on Cp9, then you should be able to install the Cp 2017 trial, open the Cp9 CPTX files you did with the other trial and take your screen shots.
