Freelance Market for Captivate Work?

What is the freelance market for someone doing Captivate work?

I'm a very experienced seasoned freelance graphic designer (large agency and Fortune 100 corporate experience before freelancing) and I'm wondering if a beginner to Adobe Captivate can get regular work? Graphic design is an over served and competitive market for freelance work. I was wondering if the training & development market using Captivate is an underserved market?

Beyond Captivate experience, what do clients requesting Captivate work require for skills?

I don't do coding or custom programming. Would that be a hinderance?

Other than using the full Adobe Creative Cloud Suite I also use GoAnimate and I'm trying out Crazytalk Animator, with an interest in the forthcoming Adobe Character animator.

Any feedback from experienced Captivate users would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Correct answer Mr Fossy

I daresay there are broader skills that are valued as well—certainly in the organization I work for. Our e-learning designers all have educational backgrounds, and are experienced in areas like instructional design, educational multimedia, assessment and item writing. Beyond that, copyediting and proofreading skills often come into play for client-facing e-learning materials.

It probably depends much on what kind of e-learning material you're developing, and for whom you're developing it!

Any insight into my questions about Captivate and elearning software?

I don't think this is the place to post about those questions. I am a freelancer myself. There is a subspace for Work opportunities but not very much frequented at all. Look for other places. Personally lot more skills are needed, but that is only my opinion. And I am well versed in the advanced aspects of Captivate, and using a lot of CC applications as well.
