Full lenght mp3/wav - Possible to link to project?

Hello,

We have recorded a training session that was held in a webinar mode.We have : 1- PPT presentation   2- Audio file (full lenght, approx 1 hour). I now wish to joint these files together in AC so people can view the presentation when needed.

I have created the Adobe Captivate project, putting the audio file as background audio, as I did not want to create multiple audio files for each slide of my PPT.

If I watch the AC project and wish to skip to the next slide, the audio will not skip as will, and therefore audio will not be synch with the presentation.

Is there any option i can enable/disable in order to solve this problem or should I create a different audio file for each slide ?

Thanks !

Welcome to our community

As you have already experienced, this is most certainly a doomed way to work.

The best approach here would be to import the PowerPoint and get the slides timed as you want them. Then add the audio clip to slide 1. This should present a dialog that allows you to choose how audio will be handled.

Assuming your slide timing is what you need, I'd choose the third option indicated here.

Cheers... Rick
