Do any slides in Responsive Captivate 9 support the game choices? I keep trying to add one to a slide, and am told it's not supported for that slide. What slide DOES accept them and make them usable?

For any of the Learning Interaction games to be usable in Responsive projects would require that the game widget itself was coded to be responsive.  To my knowledge none of them are.  I expect that's why you cannot use them.

How DOES one use the games, and in what format? I'm confused.

Not in Responsive CPTX projects, but you should find the work in normal CPTX project files published to either SWF or normal HTML5.
