German Captivate - Experiencing shrinking of smart shapes used as buttons

In Captivate 9, we created a captivate file in English using smart shapes as buttons on several slides and also change of state.  In English, the file performs exactly as expected.  However, when a colleague in Germany went to localize the text, upon testing, they noticed that the smart shapes "reduce" in size each time they are selected.  The slide properties look identical in both files and when we publish the "German localized file" using our English version of Captivate, the simulation plays as expected just like the original English file does.  Is there some difference in the German versus English captivate software and an additional setting we must use in order to have the same functionality in both languages.  Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated as we have just begun our localization using these features and have more languages to localize content in.

Notice reduction in answer tabs below...all 4 tabs were identical in size, shape and properties.

Hmmm, this is the behavior of the shape buttons when they are on the master slides. Are you sure they are on normal slides, and that the same version of Captivate is used? The InBuilt states got lost for shape buttons on master slides with Captivate 9, and are still not restored. That is why they take on the behavior of shape buttons in 7 and earlier: two states, where the pressed state is a shrinked version of the normal state.

Both German and English are on Captivate 9. I'm not sure why it would behave differently in the English version where the shapes retain size on infinite clicks and the German version where the shapes shrink.

CP9 has 3 versions. Same version?

Sure it is not on the master slides for the Germans?
