Gesture Navigation Not Working in Captivate 9
I mentioned this issue in this thread but haven't gotten it resolved, and it might be specific to my situation, so I'm starting a new thread.
My team developed quite a few non-responsive courses in Captivate 8 for use on Android devices - specifically the Zebra Symbol TC75 with Android 4.4.3. Swiping to advance the slide or move backwards worked. In Captivate 8 you didn't have the option to turn it off on certain slides - you could just turn mobile gestures on or off for the whole project. There are certain slides where we require the user to swipe to advance, so we do need it.
I am now republishing new versions all of those courses in Captivate 9.0.2.421. I needed to update the courses anyway, and the new version of Captivate fixes a memory leak that was present in previous versions, so it's important to republish with the latest version. "Allow Gesture Navigation" is already selected on every slide by default.
When I install the updated APKs on the device (probably not important, but I use batch files to do backdoor installations), swiping no longer advances the slide on those courses. It still works in the Captivate 8 courses that are still installed on the same device, so I don't think it's a device setting causing the issue.
I gave DevrajGP a copy of one of the projects, and he said gestures worked for him on IOS and Android devices. I'm not sure what else to do. Are there any other Captivate or Android settings that might prevent swiping from working?
***EDIT: Not sure why I didn't try this before, but I created a brand new test project the same size, published it, and loaded it onto the device. Gesture navigation doesn't work on that one either, so upgrading the courses from Captivate 8 is probably not the root cause.
