Getting Error: 404 File Not Found on preview

Hello all,

I have just installed Captivate 9 on a new computer and I have fun issue.

When I attempt to preview my project in the browser, I get "Error 404: File Not Found" rather than a preview of my project.  The URL is "http://localhost:7296/HTML5Temp75405190730Pre/index.html".   I am using Captivate 9.  In the console of developer tools of my browser, I have a single "failed to load resource" error.  This happens in both Chrome and Firefox.  This happens for both flash and html previews.

Please let me know if you have any ideas that could help.

Thank you.

Ryan

Does your PC user name by any chance have a space in the middle of two words, e.g. John Smith?

Hi RodWard,

no, it doesn't.  It has a hyphen in it, though... I've attached a pic of my "preview screen".

Having a space or punctuation characters in your username are some known causes for this issue.

I suggest you log this as a bug with Adobe...when they eventually fix their bug reporting form.
