"Ghost" Images

Regardless of the type of image I attempt to insert, Captivate brings it in, allows me to set the properties, but the image only appears as the framework with sizing handles. There is no actual image there. This has just recently started happening. There have been no other software or OS changes. I've attempted re-booting which sometimes fixes the problem temporarily, but then it reverts back to the "ghost" image. I'm running version 1.01.1418. Can somebody give me a little insight as to what's going on? Thanks! Oh, additionally, the same thing happens when attempting to import slides from other Captivate movies.

This is probably too simple to be the actual answer, but, when you insert the image, in the Image Dialog Box, is transparency set to 0 or to 100? It should be set to 0.

Assuming that that was not the answer, do the images display when published, or just not at all?
