Ghost Submit box
I am trying to do a simulations. When I preview the project, or publish it- there is a "submit" box that appears. I want to delete it, but it is not on the slide.
What am I missing?

Makes it difficult. Captivate does sometimes capture a quick appearance when recording.
Simulations use the blank master slide in any theme. But since it happens only on one slide, I doubt that you have that Submit on the master slide. Another possibility is that you have a Submit shape button on a preceding slide, where the timing is set for the rest of the project. But in that case yoy should see the same button on all following slides, unless it has not be set 'Always on top' and is covered on some slides.
I have also occasionally seen these Submit buttons become left over phantom objects when a Text Entry box with Submit button gets deleted. I'm not sure why this issue happens, but I found the quickest way to get rid of it was to find the first slide where the object appears and delete it, then rebuild the slide again. That seemed to get rid of the phantom object for me.
