Global shortcuts

Hi all,

In a Captivate 5.5 project, I have created  a click box to associate the "right arrow" keyboard shortcut to the "go to next slide" action.

And I have pasted this click box to all slides of the project.

In this way, the reader will be able to click on this shortcut all along the video.

This method is a heavy way to create a keyboard shortcut in all slides of a project. Is  there another global method to do that?

Thanks

Hello,

It would be great if the shortcut could be part of an object style (another one of my requests) AND if the click box could be added to the object style manager (even though it is not visible), but again, this is not the case.

Another solution would be to be able to insert an interactive object on a master slide, which is not possible again.

A third solution would be to be able to extend the timing of an interactive object to the rest of the project, not possible either.

And since you want a click box, the Static button widget (that can be added to a master slide) is not a solution, I presume? And the Perpetual button, that can be set on the first slide and timed for rest of project?

Perhaps you are aware of it, but you can paste the click box to all slides at once, if you select them in the Filmstrip.
