Hi All,

I have created a glossary using the widget and added a toggle button to show/hide using advanced actions.

The problem arises where i have other buttons/click boxes on the same page, i use the toggle to show the glossary but when i start clicking the Text it activates the buttons/click boxes below!

Please help.

Which version? Which output:l SWF or HTML5? How did you test?

Glossary Interaction is a static widget. For SWF output (not always for HTML5 output) covering an interactive object (like a click box/button) will not disable that object. Either you avoid having that object covering interactive objects or you'll have to disable those objects with the same advanced action that is making it visible, and enabling again when it is hidden. That can be very cumbersome, even with shared actions, because it is not possible to disable a group of interactive objects (one of my feature requests).

It's Captivate 2017 publishing to SWF.

That makes sense, i guess i dont need the glossary where those other interactions are located, not sure i fancy adding a load more advanced actions!

Be sure to check out shared actions! In many cases they can replace advanced actions and that has many advantages.

    Look at:

    1 action = 5 Toggle Buttons - Captivate blog
