Go to slide 1 button

hi there

I currently have a series of 'multiple choice' quiz slides. (20 in total)

I want to create a button on every slide that could send the user back to slide 1 when you click on it once. Can this be done?

I know theres a widget called 'GoToSlide_AS3.swf'  that does something similar in captivate samples, but you have to click into a tab then click. Can this widget be modified perhaps so you only click once and not have to go inside a tab.

I would happily pay someone to create this widget for me as I need it for work project!

Thanks

Matt

Hello,

You cannot add a normal button on a question slide at all, interactive objects cannot be added.

However there are some static widgets that you can add. You mentioned the 'GoToSlide' widget, why not use the simple Button-widget? It seems strange but this is a static widget, you can add it even to a master slide that you apply to all question slides. And configure it to go to slide 1, I tried it out and it works fine.

Just hoping that our widget kings/wizards will not be mad at me because I offer you a free workaround

Hello,

Glad you found it useful. You gave me the instpiration for a new blog post about that simple but powerful button widget. Here is the link to that blog post:
