Hangup after multiple choice slide CAP 12

Using Captivate 12 I am getting a hangup right after the 'Match the column1' dropdown slide and a 'Multiple choice 2' slide. when testing on Scorm Cloud or Moodle it hangs just after displaying the content of the 2/2 slide and won't let the user select the answer. 

 

I have even rebuilt this from scratch to see if the other file had a corruption in it and am getting the same effect on the rebuilt file. I suspect a faulty interaction between slides inherent to Captivate.

    Can you show the settings for the matching slide? What are the actions for Success/Last Attempt, how many attempts are allowed etc..

    Do you have any interactions on the slide Enter event of the MCQ slide?

    Both slides set to unlimited attempts, the MCQ has 3 of 4 that are correct answers. (but those are the ones that can't be touched after the slide changes). no extra Success/Last Attempt settings other than the standard ones. 

     

    Rebuilt the file while talking to ADOBE csr, got the same issue even when published as SCORM 2004. haven't heard back from them. Really wish I could get a refund on this software. It is infuriating.
