I am not so technical here.   Need experts advice on what should be the hardware and system requirements specifications for running elearning implementation and delivery on customer site? for sure that the elearning will be developed using captivate, but i am not so knowledgeable in terms of deployment..

I am not sure if I am using the right terminologies in my question.....   I am probably referring to IT infrastructure

thank you  so much

Your client will need to be delivering the content from something called a "Web Server" or a special type of web server called a "Learning Management System" or LMS for short.  A normal web server is OK if all your client wants is for people to view the content but doesn't need to track what they did.  However, if the client expects reports about which users viewed the content and what they did, then an LMS is required.

The end user's (the people that view the content) will only need to have up to date web browsers.  They view the content in the browser over the internet or intranet (an internal website within the client's own network).

If you are only getting started with all of this (as it would appear) then I strongly suggest you find yourself an IT expert of some kind to assist with the technology.  E-learning DOES require at least a certain level of IT expertise. Otherwise you may be headed for disaster.

Thank you so much. Really Appreciate it.

I just usually just give the publish files.  I havent really been hands on in deploying to webserver, thus I am unable to visualize it

In terms of web browser of the end users (the people that view the content), what browser is the best option to use and what version  should they be using? So i can make recommendations

If you are publishing to HTML5 (which you should be) then any recent version browser should work fine.  MS Edge, IE11, or Google Chrome are usually fine.
