Question

Has anyone successfully published Captivate 9 lessons to Adobe Prime?

I really would like to hear from people who have done this. I am trying to get CP 9 to work with Adobe Prime, and you'd figure that should be easy. I have not been able to successfully view lessons I have uploaded to Prime. The publishing works, that's not a problem. The issue is that once published, the navigation bar disappears. They are no longer 'attaching' a navigation bar to the lesson as you would see in the preview. I tried to add my own buttons and they just jumped around the lesson and didn't work. However, my issue is that in CP 9 there is a "publish to Adobe Prime" option, and yet it doesn't seem to work. I am trying to work with Adobe, but I would really like to hear from someone (or multiple) people who have been successful and maybe I can figure out what the problem is. I only want to hear from people using CP9 because that's what I'm using. Thanks so much!!

Have figured out the jumping button issue with Mukul's assistance - thank you!!!! It is the "rollover state" of the button to move to the center of the page. Now just need to know how to change that state Not having this issue in a non-responsive project though.

I have also successfully uploaded and viewed a non-responsive project to Prime...yeh! Looks great; navigation bar is there when saved to computer first as a SWF/HTML5 project. Adobe is possibly brining back the navigation bar for all projects...fingers crossed...then everything will work wonderfully!

Thanks for all of your help Mukul. Captivate is a really cool program with so much to offer - my lessons have never looked better!

    Hello Tanya,

We have been interacting over emails and trying to sort out this problem. But for everyone's benefit, let me explain some known behavior in this forum thread too.

Once you publish content from CP9 to Captivate Prime, the content should play in HTML format. Captivate Prime displays its own playbar, TOC which is designed to give you better experience. We also plan to enhance this experience in future Captivate Prime releases. Hence there is no need to show Captivate's own playbar as Prime playbar should work for you.

As you have mentioned about missing previous/next buttons, we have already noted this concern and are discussing internally how can we solve this issue.

Regarding your issues of jumping buttons, it would be good if you could share the project with us and we would try it out and provide your resolution.
