Having problems with auto picture recording only taking 1 snapshot

Hi ,  Can some one help me. I was working on a client system and the auto recording was only taking 1 snapshot even though I was clicking on many items.  For some reason it was only taking one snapshot and left out all my mouse clicks. I had mouse clicks turned on. I was recording a web application in internet explorer in captivate 4. I have tried reboot and new projects and I don't seem to get anywhere.  All admin rights to the machine and files were given and still it is having problems. The copies of captivate are on a local machines also.

Thank you

Elle

    Hi Rick,

Thank you   I am not sure what bit the office is using.  I will find out tomorrow.  You hit the nail on the head.. That is what is happening.  The system just stops dead after the first snap shot.

32 bit or 64? (Sometimes Captivate doesn't behave on 64 bit systems. If that's the case, you might try configuring the shortcut that starts Captivate to run it in compatibility mode.)

Are you trying to record audio narration at the same time you are recording screen activity? Assuming you are, do things improve if you stop trying to record audio simultaneously?

I do know that in some cases folks saw where Captivate would only ever capture the first slide. It would just stop dead in its tracks after that. I don't recall ever seeing anything resembling a fix either. If anyone managed to get past it, I don't think they ever posted back to say what they did. Sorry

    Cheers... Rick
