HELP: Adobe Presenter 11 not finding Adobe Flash

Specs:

Win 7 - Home Premium 64 bit

8 GB RAM, 1 TB

Office 2007

Default browser: Chrome

Norton Antivirus

Recently installed:

1) PPT 2010 - 32 bit

2) Adobe Presenter 11 (trial, started yesterday)

3) Adobe Flash 19.0.0.245 (I disabled my Norton Autoprotect to download)

Working on Adobe Presenter to provide client published version for upload to LMS. This is what I've done:

--Newly installed PPT 2010 ( I have coexisting 2003, 2007 versions installed under separate folders; have to keep for other programs); all good with PPT 2010.

--Installed Adobe Presenter 11 trial (everything shows on the PPT 2010 menu)

--Cannot preview or publish or add video using Presenter menu. It asks for latest Adobe Flash update; it opens a window in Internet Explorer and freezes.

Questions:

--Do I have the correct Adobe Flash version? Chrome says I have the latest. Is there a "standalone" that I should be running for Adobe Presenter 11? How do I get that?

--Do I need to have Internet Explorer? My system says I have the latest version installed, but can't find it... Should I pursue this or it doesn't matter?

I've tried uninstalling and installing Flash. I've tried uninstalling updates to Explorer (which is the only thing my system found) and tried installing Explorer 11 but it cannot complete the installation.

I must resolve this issue asap so I can work on my client's project!!! Please help. 😞

How come this is still unresolved until version 11 in 2018?

Presenter 11 keep asking for Adobe flash update in one computer but not in another computer? why the inconsistency? the hold up is disturbing the e-Learning project roll out.

I agree!   "Known issues" with MS Office 365 and still no fix?  Proof Adobe sucks:  they require IE for Flash to work, and for Presenter to publish.  Paid good money for the full product and it will only work with .... Windows 7.   Ahem.  Going in the wrong direction Adobe R&D.

Hi,

You need to have Internet Explorer to Preview and Publish any content from Presenter 11.

Kindly install Internet explorer and follow the steps below:

1. Open this link from Internet explorer and update the flash player from Internet explorer : https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

2. Open this link from Internet explorer  and check the flash version : Flash Player Help

Kindly let me know whether you were able to publish and preview or not. Mark this answer as correct if this has solved your issue. It might be helpful for others.

Thanks,

Hi

I just install Window 10. I install Adobe Presenter 11 (trial), Office 2013.

All button on Presenter can be used, but button Theme, Preview can't used. When I click here, PowerPoint error restart.

I think they related with Adobe Flash. I can't fix this bug.

Please help me. Thanks
