Help - Captivate and LMS

Hello,

I was wondering if someone can help me. I am trying to create an LMS for our client, who uses Opigno as their LMS server. No matter what I do though, their LMS is not registering the course has succeeded or completed.I am using SCORM 2004, 3rd edition.

The program is a series of videos with no quizzes. I tried setting the completion and success criteria to user access/Slide view (15%) and quiz (i programmed points in the next buttons) but nothing seem to work, their LMS always display: "Please complete this activity to proceed"

Their Opigno FAQ states that it retrieves the following variables:

  • cmi.score.raw
  • cmi.score.min
  • cmi.score.max
  • cmi.score.scaled
  • but that mi.completion_status, cmi.success_status are not conditions of completion.

If anybody would have an idea on what to configure, it would be immensely appreciated. Thanks!!

Hello! Thank you very much for the suggestions! I exported in SCORM 1.2 and it worked..... -_-

We were informed that their platform handled both SCORM 1.2 and 2004.. Can't believe I wasted so many hours on this.

I believe the export and configurations were correct as it registered what it should when i tested on SCORM Cloud, which is why it was such a headscratcher that it didn't work on their LMS.

Thank you again for all your time and help !! 🙂

I would try publishing using SCORM 1.2 and see if that gets things working. I would also question if the LMS is truly SCORM compliant.

Lilybiri's suggestion to send a shot of the reporting options is a good one. Also, go to Project > Advanced Interactions and grab a screen shot of that too.

Can you post screenshots of the Reporting screen (under Quiz Preferences) and of the Advanced Interaction dialog box (to check the scored objects). Are the scored Next buttons compulsory for all learners to click? Or do they have alternatives (like a playbar with a progress bar)?
