HELP! Khmer font looks different in Adobe captivate compared with MS Word.

Hi,

I am localizing a module using Adobe Captivate 7 and I am encountering issues in terms of the font style. In the translations document that I am using (Khmer language), the font used is Khmer OS Siem Reap and it is accurate. But when I copied and pasted it in Adobe captivate software, same font style is displayed in the properties panel but the texts don't look alike. There are '+' characters added and I don't understand why it's happening.

Please help me. I badly need it.

I have no experience whatsoever with languages like that, cannot explain what happens. Just wanted to offer you a quick solution: create images from the text and paste as image in Captivate. This will work for static text only, which means text without inserted variables.

Do you know anyone who have experience in localization?

Converting it into images won't work since I am working on 110 slides with mostly texts in it. And there are also interactions included in the module so I can't really change it into images. Actually it's not only the Khmer language that has a problem. I have the same issue with the Thai and Viet language. This is crazy.

I have a lot of experience with localization, but only for Western languages. Sorry, this is a user-to-user forum, and I doubt you'll find someone quickly here that has experience with that kind of languages. You should try to contact Adobe support directly.
