Hi,

Would appreciate help in resetting any survey slide to its original form (able to re-select and re-submit choices) after one revisits it via the Back button.

Thank you.

Survey slides (including the Likert type) are subject to the same rules as graded quiz slides:

    • You have can as many attempts on question level as you want, once the learner leaves the slide, the answer(s) are locked. Moreover Survey type of questions do not have attempts, nor Actions.
    • To reset all answers you need to use the Retake button on the score slide. Probably not what you want
    • Result: using a back button on a quiz slide (graded or survey) has no snse, because the user cannot change a previous answer and will even be stuck in that case.

This is the case since many versions.

What I never tried for Survey question slides (which I always replace by custom slides) is if the Submit All feature is functional. You may try that: free navigation will be possible until the user decides to submit all answers at once.

@Eric Dumas  I suspect you overlooked the fact that the OP talks about Survey question slides, not graded question slides. Moreover resetting ONE quiz slide is impossible out of the box, both for Graded and Survey types.

    Hi,

Can you confirm the exact version of your software and operating system?

Can you also confirm that you would like learners to answer the same question several times? Have you tested changing the amount of attempts in the Action area of Quiz Properties panel?
