Help putting Captivate in DVD Format

I have been asked to create a training video using Captivate. The captivate file is large and has inbedded powerpoint, audio, and some video. My client doesn't want a Captivate file but a stand alone DVD video. They have need to have the file played on in a video format via DVD not via a computer. Is it possible to take my Captivate file and transfer it to a DVD? If so, what software do you suggest? and/or is there a process for this?

Thanks for your help,

Captivate is going to generate a SWF (Flash) file. That doesn't sound like what you need. I'd check out other recording software that might be more compatible with a DVD medium. Just a thought.

Thanks Larry for the response.
I have already created the Captivate file and my client now wants it to play on DVD. So I have this file that acts as a presentation - no interaction - and I want to find a way to convert the SWF file to a format that enables it to play on a DVD (like a movie). Any suggestions about software that can do the conversion?

Thanks again - Andy Solem

Hi Andy

A quick Google turned up the following potential software:

You might try some of them and report back with how well they do (or don't) work. This would then help others in your shoes.

Just a thought... Rick
