Help with Advanced Actions and RadioButton Widget

Hello All,

I am having issues trying to implement a non-graded, True/Fase question within a lesson. I have seen Lilybiri's excellent example and blog but I am having none of her success.

I have inserted the radio button widget, created the variable TF1, created a text caption that is appropriate for each resposne [show one response if the answer is correct, different if incorrect], a Submit button, and a Continue button.

I have tried what seems like every permutation possible in the advanced actions to no avail. Can someone explain how to set up the advanced actions for this simple example?

thanks,

-dennis

Can you post a screenshot of the Widget Properties? And also the advanced action that you use? How did you trigger that action? And which version are you using?

I am using 6.0.1 and I am triggering it with a Submit button (if that's what you mean). Here are the screenshots.

True is the incorrect answer. There is an Else statement to this action as well that is set to Show FeedbackTF1 which is the feedback for the correct answer.

    thank you,

Checked it on 6.1 (haven't 6.01 anymore) and indeed, there seems to be a bug in that version with that widget. In the blog post I was using previous version of CP. And I didn't control the more than 70 use cases when 6 was released, aware that several wouldn't work anymore.

Have a solution: grab the free extended version (talk about it in my blog as well) by Jim Leichliter, and it will be functional with your action:
