Help with NeoSpeech

Hi,

I've checked through the forums but ...

I'm trying to install NeoSpeech for Captivate 6. I downloaded it and was told that Adobe Application Manager was damaged and to download again and install. This I did. Also all of my updates are up to date. Yet when I try and run the Adobe Patch Installer - I get the same message "Adobe Application Manager is damaged............."

This is really frustrating.

Any help on this please?

Try renaming the Application Manager configuration folder, AAMUpdater (to say, 12345) located at C:\Users\<user_name>\AppData\Local\Adobe and then install the Application Manager again. This should resolve the Application Manager installation issue.

After that, when you install NeoSpeech, it might still not work. Then, go back to the same folder, C:\Users\<user_name>\AppData\Local\Adobe and delete Captivate 6.0 folder. Install NeoSpeech now. This will resolve the NeoSpeech issue.

Note: The AppData folder is hidden by default. You should set your folder options to View Hidden Files to view this folder.

    Hi Sreekanth,

OK - I've gone to the Application Data>adobe folder - but can't find the AAM configuration folder there - when I was installing, the default was C:\Documents and Settings\<name>\Desktop

Also, the only captivate related folder under application data>adobe is captivate which has a sub folder 1.0

Sorry and thanks ... neospeech instaleld perfectly for Captivate 5.5
