I'm having some difficulty understanding your explanation.

I would suggest that you carefully check the URL address that you have used.  The functionality might not be working properly if the URL is not correct.  Remember that Captivate generates HTM files, not HTML.  So if you are going to another Captivate project, it will be HTM on the file ending.

Have you set different URLs for the Pass and Fail destinations, or the same URL?

Also, check the functionality by uploading to a web server.  Sometimes these things do not work properly when tested from your PC hard drive.

I looked those over and they are correct. The one issue i am still haveing, is that the Prefrence

s for pass and fail are Open URL, but it dose not do that on the pass or fail. i can get it to report

to email, and I can get it to go to another slide, but not a URL. I have selected the Quize report, and I am useing the internal server opption. Sould I not use this option, the other opttions do not applie to me. i have also tried to make up advanced actions, but they do not work either.. I need some major step by step help here since my brain is to far gone, now, i am makeing nothing but mistakes since I can not resolve this issue. Thnaks you in addvance for any and all help. I f you need more info, I will gladly supplie any ne who wants it.

Thanks Once again

Perhaps you misunderstand the way that the Pass/Fail action works.  If you set the Pass/Fail action to Open a URL or File, it will only do this AFTER you click the Continue button on the Quiz Results slide.  Not when you click any of the other buttons.

It would seem from your explanation that you do not have a lot of technical expertise in web technology.  If so, the Internal Server reporting option is not likely to be useful as this requires you to be experienced in setting up a web server.

If all you want to do is open a specific URL when the user Passes the Quiz, or open a different URL if they Fail, then just set the correct URLs for each case in the Quiz Settings > Pass / Fail area.  You do not need to specify email reporting, or internal server.  In fact you can just untick the box at the top of the Quiz > Reporting section.  You don't need this unless you are trying to send quiz results somewhere such as for a Learning Management System or database.

If you are testing this functionality on your own computer, the reason why the Open URL or File action may not be working could be due to Flash Global Security settings not being enabled for the folder location where you are publishing.  If you do not know how to do this, Google the term: Flash Global Security to find out how to add the folder on your PC as a trusted location.  The other thing to try is uploading your published content to a web server and testing it from there.  Content served from a web server does not usually have the Flash Security issues.
