Help with text-entry boxes

I am relatively new to Captivate 7.  I am making a project that has a couple of slides with text-entry boxes (TEBs).  They are not scored nor part of the graded quiz.  They are more like knowledge-check questions as we go through the course.  How do I make sure that they are filled in before moving to the next slide?  Is there a way to go about this?  The other thing is how exactly does a submit button for this work?  I did a preview of my project and the submit button did not seem to be doing anything.  Please help.

Thanks,

Ms. Frustrated

What are TEBName and TEBPassword?  Are they Action names or variables?  Do I need to assign them in the beginning?  What does it mean to enable/disable them?  I know these may sound really basic, but I need to clarify.

    Thanks!
