Question

Hex numbering in an imported list!?

This has to be unique.

I have been working with latest release of Captivate 5 in conjunction with Powerpoint 2007 and have been having problems with a few aspects of the importing process. Have managed to resolve all but one... A numbered list imported from Powerpoint counts in HEX format after import! (honest)

Slides are fine in Powerpoint. After importing into Captivate I get 8, 9, a, b etc. I tested further my modifying the starting number and indeed received a list numbered as d, e, f, 10, 11 etc.

I am not aware of a preference for this - nor would I expect there to be one.

Anyone else encounter? Is there a fix (short of removing the numbering and doing manually?

Regards,

For any who may be interested...

A built in option is to use Roman Numeral format. It will work OK if it suits your design.

(Otherwise it would be a manual editing job)

Too bad Adobe does not seem to partake in their own forums.
