I have cp8, and when I look at the metadata.xml file (using notepad), in the scorm package, it says this about halfway down:

            <vcard>
                BEGIN:VCARD
                VERSION:2.1
                FN:Adobe Captivate
                NOTE: version 8.0.0.145
                URL: http://www.adobe.com/products/captivate.html
                END:VCARD
            </vcard>

See if you have that in yours.

Hope that helps.

I think you'll find this information ONLY appears in Cp output from version 6 onward after they changed to the new Rustici SCORM drivers.  Earlier versions may not give this information.
