Question

Hi, would anyone have suggestions on how to 'pin' click boxes to the END of slides?

I'm trying to pin questions to the end of slides in presentations, and all slides have varying lengths.  As it is now, I have to manually go in and slide each click box to the end of each slide...very time consuming!  Thanks in advance!

You can set the timing properties of a single click box and if you want to assign it to all your click boxes on all slides, you can simple choose, apply this to all items (or all items of same style).

You might have to check that your slide duration do honor the time that you are trying to set for click box.

A click box is invisible, does it matter if it is already present at the start of the slide?

If that is OK,  here are some suggestions:

  • use CTRL-E for the first click box, to extend its timeline till the end of the slide, and use the small curved arrow, top right of the Timing accordion to apply that to all click boxes
  • replace the click box by a shape button (set Fill to 0% Alpha and Stroke to 0pt) on the master slide you use for those question slides, in Options set it to pause, pause will always be at the end of each slide

Shoot, just realized I said click box, and I meant a button. I need the

button to appear at the end of the slide, and currently, it says something

along the lines of "Click here to continue". Is there a wa to do it like

you're taking about, but with the message to appear at the end? Hope that

makes sense!

Thanks!

Same question, can the start of the button be at the start of the slide? Then you can use the same approach
