Hidden Hotspots in Interactive Video

Hello,

I am making an interactive video and want to have hidden hotspots throughout the video for the user to find. Similiar to a hazard preception test. Would anyone have any advice on how to do this?

Thanks

Normally an interactive video has no hotspots at all.

You can add shape buttons (which you can make invisible) on top of slide video, but synchronizing will be not easy especially for longer videos. Since the video needs to load On Enter for the slide, which takes much more time than the other objects, unsynchronizing will be a problem. You didn't specify if those 'hotspots' need to be during the full duration of the video? And what are they supposed to 'do'? The last question may be the biggest problem. Do you want to pause the video when a hotspot is clicked? And what more has to happen?

Maybe one of these blog posts can help?

Hotspots in Captivate are typical for a 360° static image or video, are you perhaps talking about those?

Please let us know which program you are having problems with. Someone will be along to move this post to the appropriate product forum, where you are more likely to get an answer to your question.

The Using the Community forum is for help in using the Adobe Support Community forums, not for help with specific programs. Product questions should be posted in the associated product community.

No worries. I'll move this to the Captivate forum for you.

You might want to add information on your system (CPU, RAM, etc.) as well as your current OS and the version of Captivate you are using. This helps other users help you.
