Hi

I have a menu in master template that are grouped and added to the first slide. The group are set to "show for rest of project".

When I check the box for hint it wont show up.

If I try to add it to another button in the same master template, also set to show for rest of project. It works.

Is it te group that is the problem?

Sorry to repeat: it is IMPOSSIBLE to time objects for the rest of the project on master slides. This was the start of your original question:

"I have a menu in master template that are grouped and added to the first slide. The group are set to "show for rest of project".

Never mind that. It was not the case.

    Anyhow.

I copied and paste the whole group out of the master slide. And paste it back again and then i worked. Lets just call it one of those special things with captivate.

Are you still using a cptl file (template)? That workflow is very buggy since multiple versions.

Or are you talking about something else? It is not about master slides, because they don't allow timing for the rest of the project since they have no timing features.

Obviously you are not pointing to a responsive project, because timing for the rest of the project is not possible in a Fluid boxes project.

Not sure what you mean bu template. The procejt is a blank sheet from the start.

Its not a rest of project object as you stated. Sorry about that.

    Not a responsive no.

Its just that hint is not working on my menu in master template. I tried to remoive the group but stil no.

You used the word 'master template' again...  Please tell what you mean by that. It is not a master slide, that is why I asked if you talk about a template file which has the extension cptl. If I don't understand your question, it is difficult to answer.

I just did a quick double-check. I added a group of 2 shape buttons with a Hint shape to the first slide of a project, timed each of those buttons for the rest of the project, always on top. It worked perfectly on the slides where the group appeared. Confirms my suspicion that I don't understand your question correctly.
