Running version 9 update 2. Working with on-screen elements is painful, even something as simple as a square! See here:

Is anyone else having these issues?

I have the exact same issue. I upgraded to Captivate 10. I have a high end Mac with Sierra, quad processors and tons of ram. This has been a nightmare because I specifically purchases the Mac so that I could speed up my creative tools from the ancient PC I was using. But now, Captivate runs SLOWER than it did with my decade old PC.

This is a clear example of the program being poorly written and not optimized for Mac. Seems like a half-hearted port job. I really hope Captivate takes this seriously. It's going to alienate a large portion of the community. I'm already thinking about a refund.

Can you clear the cache? When installing the patch did you first clear the Preferences and delete the Layouts and Sample Projects folders in Shared documents? Are the paths in Preferences pointing to folders on your system, not to a networked drive?

I'm going to do a complete uninstall/reinstall and see if that helps.

Even with a complete reinstall, you have manually to clear the Preferences, the cache and to delete the folders I was pointing to. It is in the release notes, but many users never read those.
