Question

Hot Spot Quiz

I created a hot spot quiz question. I want the user to point to and then click on an area on the screen. Works. So far so good. However, when the user then tries to submit that answer by clicking on the Submit button, Captivate thinks they are giving another answer and marks it wrong.

Any ideas?

TIA,

    Hi geekygURL

Yours makes the second post I recall seeing reporting this behavior in as many weeks. Any chance of your sharing your .CP file so we might see what it looks like? I've attempted to reproduce it on my PC to no avail. I'm guessing since you are the second to report it here that it's not simply a one off or a fluke. Might be some obscure bug with Captivate.

Wishing I had a good answer or workaround to provide... Rick

RIck -- I will email you the file over the weekend. It is for a client, so I cannot post it in a public forum. I did find that the problem stopped after I set the question to only allow clicking on the hotspot, however -- that is not a good workaround for me because it means that users will onlye be allowed to click in the right spot and nowhere else, so they will always get the question correct.

    TIA
