Hotspot Quizzes

Hi,

I am currently using Captivate 4 to design a SCORM course. At the end is a 5 question quiz that are hotspot questions. For each question, there is only 1 correct answer and I think it is slightly distracting for a user if they can select more than 1. Is there a way that only one animated hotspot answer can be given at a time?

Thanks

Chris

Hi Chris,
When you first set up the hotspot quiz, the question tab on the quiz pop-up allows you to set the numbers of hotspots. If you have already set up the question slide, simply click the "Edit Question..." button, and then make sure the "Question" tab is open. You can set it from 1 - 10 hotspots. Hope that helps!

Hi all

Brad, I don't think that will work. I think what Chris is looking for is the ability to click once on a single area. Once the hotspot has been set, not to allow the user to click on the other areas or on the page to see multiple hotspots.

I don't believe there is a way to do that. The closest I think you are going to get is by choosing the option to allow clicks on hotspots only. But if you have three hotspots with only one correct, the user will still be able to click on all of them.

I think you should probably advise Adobe using the Wish Form.
