Question

How can I create slides/content without so much movement with my Apple Magic Mouse?

For some reason now, when I'm creating slides within Captivate 2017 version 10.0.0.192, the slides move all around the place with my Apple Magic Mouse. It's so difficult to get the slide to stop from moving about and to get items like adding shapes, highlight boxes, text boxes to go where I need them. I spend so much more time trying to stabilize the slides and items. I don't know why it does this. I didn't do this on other versions. I do have a newer computer and mouse too. You would think improved technology would be better but this is worse. Any ideas how to fix this? I would hate to hard line my computer mouse just for this program.

Thanks,

Sorry, I couldn't find any option to stop the slide movement while using Apple magic mouse. I am not a hardcore MAC user, might be someone else found any trick for this.

You may want to report that to Adobe, there should be an option to lock it somewhere inside Captivate.

I'm just a Windows user, really hope someone with similar hardware will pop in. I don't understand the 'movement of slides' however. Are you talking about zooming in/out? There are some shortcut keys that could help you in that case: Cmnd (Ctrl on Win) combined with 0, 100% = Cmnd-1

No, it's not zooming in or out. The slides actually within the frame window move around as if the mouse is moving the slide while I'm trying to actually do an another action. So it's difficult to perform actions while the slide is in motion. I'm sure it has to do with Mouse/Apple match up... Just wondering how to get this to work. I had an older version Apple and older version captivate and didn't have this issue. Now with new Apple and newer Captivate, I have this issue.
