How can I find clients with Adobe Captivate 9?

How can I find clients and bring income using Adobe Captivate 9? From my other questions you might think I am very new to Adobe Products. However, I go back to 2000 working with applications such as Photoshop, Flash (Macromedia at the time), and more. But now that I am a new comer to Adobe Captivate 9 I am sold! But I have to know I can make income from it. So I ask the other e-learning professionals here, how do I make Adobe Captivate work for me by bringing in income?

Another option is for you to develop training that can be sold via a website, DVD, iTunes, iBooks, etc. Most of my development is done for areas that I have researched and determined would be beneficial to develop training. I don't always sell it...sometimes I do it just for educational reasons and give it away for the benefit of the people who need the information.

It's a little more difficult to develop and market (as opposed to working with a company that has the projects for you) but it is still a viable option for using Captivate. As Rick said though, Captivate is just one of the many tools I use in my "toolbox".

Hi there

I know I'm but a lone voice here, but my gut tells me that most folks using Captivate are working for a company where eLearning is required. So Captivate is just one tool used in their employment. Another way you might be able to make money would be to become an eLearning consultant. And if you take that path you should know that Captivate is only one of the tools you would need to know and be proficient with. Common names are Lectora, PowerPoint, Storyline and probably many others that I'm unaware of.

Cheers... Rick
