Question

How can I test my Captivate swf file after I have published it to a folder on my computer?

Is there a specific file in the folder that I can drag into my browser?

If that folder is added to Flash Trusted sites, and your browser has the Flash Player plugin activated, launch the file with extension htm and with the same name as the Captivate SWF file. It will launch your default browser and play the SWF file after having called the JS and eventually the CSS file which are all in the same published folder. Unless you have been creating a SCO.

    Hi there,

Thank you for your answer. I am using Explorer and the Flash player is

enabled. When I launch the htm file I get a blank screen showing the file

path in the address bar, when I launch the other htm file with the _fs

attached I get a blank screen showing the file path in the address bar and

a link to Open in full screen, which when I click it open a new blank

    window....

Is the folder to which you published added to the Flash Trusted  Locations?

This would not be necessary if you uploaded the published folder to a LMS or to a webserver.

Could you see the project with Preview in Browser (F12)?

BTW I deleted your personal data, because this is a public forum.
