How can I use jQuery UI Widgets in Cap 7

Since I use Captivate for creating eLearning courses I find it boring only using onboard interactions. Especially since you cannot customize them properly to Corporate Design standards. I know that there are many widgets for free or purchasable, but that ist not what I am looking for. So last week I got a cold and kept my bed and had a lot of time to think about how to improve my digital learning experience. I had the idea, to check out jQuery UI for some nice widgets. But how could I get them into my Captivate project?

I lunched Captivate 7 and examined all the files it produced, when a project has been published (both as SWF and as HTML 5). Wow! That was all Greek to me although I understand at least the basics of HTML, CSS and Javascript. I absolutely had no idea what all that code does mean or does not mean.

Very naive I opend the html.index file in Dreamweaver. I expected that for it is a .html document I could edit it in Dreamweaver. Far from it! DW just showed the starting page of my course. The <body> only contains some <script>, that`s it.

Well, I was very disappointed about these poor results. Of course I know that Captivate is Captivate and Dreamweaver is Dreamweaver. But why is it not possible to edit a .html file generated by Captivate in another editor (like DW)? And if it is not possible, how should I ever adjust HTML, CSS or Javascript with a broader functionality than Captivate offers?

Any ideas?
