how create variables in adobe captivate 6?

I am trying to configure my course to move to complete when employees pass the quiz and view 100% of the slides, however I have a button where they can click and go to objectives page and choose the objective they want (they are  hyperlinked) so the employees can navigate through the course including the Quiz. My  problem is that when they skip and go to Quiz and finished It, they can continue to the thank you page at the end of the course and to their certificate even if they haven’t pass the quiz or view all slides.  How can I prevent this to happen? I would like they see the thank you slide and their certificate ONLY when they passed the quiz and viewed all slides.  Thanks for your help.
