How do I access the media encoder?

A version of the Adobe Media Encoder application is normally installed with Adobe Captivate by default.  However, it is also one of the free apps that come with the Creative Cloud.  So you should also be able to download and install it for free from the Adobe Website.  The latest version of AME CC is 2017.

If you wonder why an older version of AME (CS6) is packaged with Captivate: reason is that SWF output from Captivate will convert video to FLV, which is AFAIK no longer available in the new AME CC2017.
