How do I adjust the background audio on slides with no voice over?

I'm using Captivate 9 and have imported one track on loop for the background. It's great on slides with no voice over but when it gets to activity slides or interactive slides it's blaring! Is there a way to turn it down so the learner isn't scrambling with the volume?

Look in Audio > Edit > Background.

The dialog should show an option to change the sound level on slides WITH audio.  Check what that is set to.  You may find that the real problem is simply that you need to take down the volume of the entire background audio clip so that the volume is not too loud when it returns to its normal level on non-voiceover slides.

You can right click the background audio clip in the Library and choose Edit with Adobe Captivate.  The Audio dialog has options to change volume for a selected area of a clip or for the entire clip.

Thank you! I ended up just editing the volume of the music entirely. Easy!
