How do I create a new workspace?

Hello : )I recently cleared my preferences and re-installed Adobe Captivate, and it seems in doing so, I loss the ability to create a new workspace.  If I go to Window --> Workspace,  the only options I have are "Classic" and "Reset 'Classic'"...  Can anyone help?Thank you.

Workspaces are gone in the newbie UI of Captivate 8. You have to turn on Expert UI in Preferences, General settings, 4th option. Then restart CP.

I'm a bit puzzled, because it seems that you had workspaces before resetting Preferences, or didn't you? If you want to keep your customisation when cleaning Preferences or installing a patch, have a look at:

Workspaces are even then more limited in 8 then in 7, you cannot reduce a panel or docking station to an icon anymore as is usual for other Adobe apps and existed in CP7. You have to create each workspace, only the Classic is available out of the box.
