Hi,

I am new to this, and just want to use some snapshots of a program as stills in my help pages. I have been able to master the movies, but cant work out how to use a single slide as a still, in the form of a jpg or something. Help please?

do you have photoshop? or any graphics program? do you have MS Word?

Open up the application you want to capture, Press ALT+Print Screen Button (this captures only the active window, if you do not hold down ALT, you'll get your entire screen).

Open up Photoshop, Word, Powerpoint, or any graphics program and hit PASTE (ctrl+V). Hopefully you have photoshop or a similiar program where you can now do SAVE AS, select jpeg from the file type and that's it.

I think this would also work using Paint (windows default program in the accessories folder in your start menu). Never tried it but don't see why it woudlnt' work.

    good luck.
