How do I create Software Simulation for YouTube?

I want to create a Software Simulation to upload to YouTube in order to import it back into Captivate 9 for my project. I have a few issues.

1. When I create automatic panning the panning goes everywhere when I move my mouse around. How do I correct that?

2. Why isn't it saving as in video format?

3. I need it as a Captivate video format in order to apply the pan and zoom effects later, is that correct?
