How Do I Delete an Unwanted, Leftover Submit Button from a Text Entry Box?

I thought about using a text entry box on a slide but decided against. I did add the text entry box to a slide but got rid of it using the Undo button and no content was added.

The problem is when I preview my work, the Submit button appears for the first few seconds before disappearing. How can I get rid of this unwanted button?

BTW, the button does not show up when in edit mode, only when I am previewing the module and I am using Captivate 9.
