how do I get rid of unwanted transitions?

I have a screen-capture FMR. I want it to start with a freeze-frame of the first frame, and end with a freeze-frame of the last frame. I don't want it to jump back to the beginning at the end of playback.

I've kludged that by bracketing the FMR slide with still slides of the start and end frames. I've set everything I can find to "No transitions," but I still get fade-to-white between the slides. Where might I look for the setting?

You can have fade in and fade out on several levels in a Captivate project.

You can have it on the entire project at start and end, on each individual slide enter, and on almost any object on the slide stage (captions, click boxes, highlight boxes, images, animations, etc).  The exception (for reasons I've never understood) are buttons, which have no transition.

So I was suggesting you need to check out all of these transition possibilities to find out which one might be in play in your case.

So the slides as well as any graphics on the slides are all set to No Transitions?

How many slides in the movie?  Have you checked that the project itself is not set to fade in or out? (Project Preferences > Start and End)

Three slides, all set to No Transitions. I"m not sure what "graphics on the slides" means. Fade In and Fade Out are unchecked in File > Publish Settings > Project > Start and End and Edit > Preferences > Project > Start and End.
